The Prophet ﷺ said, "I saw a black woman with disheveled hair leave Madinah and stop at Mahyaah. I interpreted this to mean that the plague of Madinah had been transferred to Mahyaah, which is al-Juhfah."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: رأيت امرأة سوداء ثائرة الرأس خرجت من المدينة حتى قامت بمهيعة، فأولت أن وباء المدينة نقل إلى مهيعة، وهي الجحفة.
