The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A truthful, righteous dream is one of seventy parts of prophethood."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: الرؤيا الصادقة الصالحة جزء من سبعين جزءا من النبوة.
Tabarani reported it in Al-Saghir (2/56), and Abu Bakr Shafii reported it in Al-Ghaylaniyyat (635), through various routes from Muhammad bin Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Razmah, who said, Fadl bin Musa Sinani told us, Misar bin Kidam told us, from Rukayn bin Rabi, from his father, from Abdullah bin Masud, who mentioned it.Tabarani said, "No one narrated it from Misar except Fadl bin Musa, and Ibn Abu Razmah alone narrated it from him."I say, this chain is sahih. Fadl bin Musa is trustworthy and firmly reliable, so his being the sole narrator does not harm the hadith. The same applies to those below him, Muhammad bin Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Razmah and his father. It has also been narrated from Ibn Masud as a stopped report through another chain, so that too does not harm it.Haythami said in Al-Majma (7/173), "The men of Al-Saghir are the men of the Sahih."
