He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "A good dream is one part out of forty-six parts of prophethood."
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول: الرؤيا الصالحة جزء من ستة وأربعين جزءا من النبوة.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Dream Interpretation (6989), from Ibrahim bin Hamza, who said, Ibn Abu Hazim and Darawardi related to me, from Yazid, from Abdullah bin Khabab, from Abu Saeed Khudri, and he mentioned it.Ibn Majah narrated it (3895) through Atiya, from Abu Saeed, as a raised report, "The dream of a righteous Muslim man is one part out of seventy parts of prophecy." Atiya here is Atiya bin Saad Awfi, who is daif according to the majority of the scholars.
