Umm Salama asked permission from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to be cupped, so the Prophet ﷺ instructed Abu Taybah to perform the cupping for her. The narrator said, "I believe he said that Abu Taybah was either her foster brother or a boy who had not yet reached puberty."
أن أم سلمة استأذنت رسول الله ﷺ في الحجامة فأمر النبي ﷺ أبا طيبة أن يحجمها. قال: حسبت أنه قال: كان أخاها من الرضاعة أو غلاما لم يحتلم.
