The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If there is any good in the remedies you use for treatment, it is in cupping."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: إن كان في شيء مما تداويتم به خير فالحجامة.
Reported by Abu Dawud (3857), Ibn Majah (3476), and Ahmad (8513), and Ibn Hibban (6078) and Hakim (4/410) graded it sahih, all of them through various routes from Hammad bin Salama, who said, Muhammad bin Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr, who is al-Laythi, for his hadith is hasan. Hakim said, "It is sahih according to the standard of Muslim."
