The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If there is healing in anything, it is in the cut of a cupper, a drink of honey, or cauterization with fire applied to a place of pain, though I would not like to be cauterized."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن كان شيء شفاء ففي شرطة محجم، أو شربة عسل، أو كية بنار تصيب ألما، وما أحب أن أكتوي.
Narrated by Ahmad (27256), Tabarani in Al-Kabir (19/430) and in Al-Awsat (9333), and Nasai in Al-Kubra (7603), all of them from the hadith of Saeed bin Abu Ayub, who said, "Yazid bin Abu Habib narrated to me, from Suwayd bin Qays Tujaybi of Kinda, from Muawiya bin Khadij," and he related it.Its isnad is sahih.
