The Prophet ﷺ said, "Healing lies in three things, the incision of a cupper, a drink of honey, or cauterization with fire, and I forbid my community from cauterization."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: الشفاء في ثلاثة: في شرطة محجم، أو شربة عسل، أو كية بنار، وأنهى أمتي عن الكي.
Bukhari narrated it in "the Book of Medicine" (5681), from Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahim, who said, Surayj bin Yunus Abu Harith informed us, who said, Marwan bin Shuja narrated to us, from Salim Aftas, from Saeed bin Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it.
