The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever visits a fortune-teller and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad ﷺ."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: من أتى كاهنا فصدقه بما يقول فقد كفر بما أنزل على محمد ﷺ.
Bazzar narrated it in Kashf Astar (3045) from Uqbah bin Sinan, who said, Ghassan bin Mudar narrated to us, who said, Saeed bin Yazid (he is Ibn Maslama Azdi) narrated to us, from Abu Nadra, from Jabir bin Abdullah, who said, then he mentioned it.Bazzar said, "We do not know of it being narrated from Jabir except by this route, and we have not heard anyone report it from Ghassan except Uqbah."Its isnad is hasan because of Uqbah bin Sinan, who is Ibn Uqbah Hadadi Basri, who narrated from Ghassan bin Mudar. Abu Hatim said about him, "Truthful." Al-Jarh wal-Tadil (6/311).Munziri said in Targheeb (4596), "Bazzar narrated it with a strong, good isnad." Ibn Hajar deemed its isnad sound in Fath al-Bari (10/117).
