The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to supplicate, saying, "O Allah, let me enjoy my hearing and my sight, and make them the inheritors from me. Grant me victory over those who wrong me, and take my revenge from them."In another narration, "and show me my revenge against them."
كان رسول الله ﷺ يدعو فيقول: اللهم متعني بسمعي وبصري واجعلهما الوارث مني وانصرني على من يظلمني، وخذ منه بثأري وفي رواية: وأرني فيه ثأري
Tirmidhi (7/3604), Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad (650), and Hakim (1/523, 2/142) all narrated it through routes from Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, who said, and then mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr, who is Ibn Alqama, for his hadith is hasan.Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan gharib hadith from this angle."As for Hakim, he said, "This is a sahih hadith according to the criterion of Muslim."
