The Prophet ﷺ said, "The supplications for one in distress are, 'O Allah, I hope for Your mercy, so do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye. Set right all my affairs. There is no god but You.'"
قال النبي ﷺ: دعوات المكروب اللهم رحمتك أرجو، فلا تكلني إلى نفسي طرفة عين، أصلح لي شأني كله لا إله إلا أنت.
Reported by Abu Dawud (5090), Ahmad (20430), Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad (701), and Nasai in Amal al-Yawm wal-Layla (651), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (970), all of them from the hadith of Abu Amir Abdul-Malik bin Amr Aqdi, who said, Abdul-Jalil bin Atiya told us, Jafar bin Maymun told us, Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Bakra told me, from his father, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Abdul-Jalil bin Atiya, and likewise Jafar bin Maymun, for there is disagreement about him, though his hadith is considered hasan when it does not contain anything objectionable, especially in matters of virtues and the like.
