A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My mount has broken down, so provide me with one."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "I have nothing to give you."Then a man said, "Messenger of Allah, I can direct him to someone who will provide him with a mount."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever guides someone to good will receive a reward equal to that of the one who does it."
Muslim reported it in the book of Emirate (1893) through various routes from Amash, from Abu Amr Shaybani, from Abu Masud Ansari, and he related the hadith. His saying, "My mount broke down," means his riding animal was ruined, that being his means of transport.
