The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever says, 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs all dominion, to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable of all things,' one hundred times in the morning and one hundred times in the evening, no one will come with anything better than what he has brought, except someone who said the same words more often."In another wording, "Whoever says, 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs all dominion, to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable of all things,' two hundred times each day, no one before him will have surpassed him, and no one after him will reach his level, except someone whose deeds exceed his."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: من قال لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك، وله الحمد، وهو على كل شيء قدير مائة مرة إذا أصبح، ومائة مرة إذا أمسى، لم يأت أحد بأفضل منه إلا من قال أفضل من ذلك. وفي لفظ: من قال: لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك، وله الحمد، وهو على كل شيء قدير، مائتي مرة في كل يوم، لم يسبقه أحد كان قبله، ولا يدركه أحد بعده، إلا بأفضل من عمله.
Nasai narrated it in Amal al-Yawm wal-Layla (575), and Ibn Sunni (76), both through the route of Ubaydullah bin Muaz, from his father, from Shuba, from Hakam (that is, Ibn Utayba), from Amr bin Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather Abdullah bin Amr, and he mentioned it with the first wording.Ahmad narrated it (6740), and Nasai in Amal al-Yawm wal-Layla (577), both through the route of Hammad bin Salama, from Thabit Bunani and Dawud bin Abu Hind, from Amr bin Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather, and he mentioned it with the second wording.Its chain is hasan because of Amr bin Shuayb. His statement, "two hundred times," contains a shortening, which the first narration explains, meaning, "a hundred times when he wakes in the morning, and a hundred times when evening comes."
