Abdullah bin Masud reported,

Whenever the Prophet of Allah ﷺ entered the evening, he would say, "We have entered the evening and the dominion belongs to Allah. Praise be to Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner."The narrator said, I believe he also said in them, "To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things. Lord, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what comes after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what comes after it. Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the misery of old age. Lord, I seek refuge in You from punishment in the Fire and punishment in the grave."When he entered the morning, he would say the same, "We have entered the morning and the dominion belongs to Allah."
