Arwa disputed with Saeed bin Zayd over part of his house, so he said, "Leave her and what she claims, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever takes a handspan of land unjustly will have it placed around his neck through seven earths on the Day of Resurrection.' O Allah, if she is lying, blind her eyes and make her grave in her house."The narrator said, "I later saw her blind, groping along the walls, saying, 'The supplication of Saeed bin Zayd has struck me.' While she was walking through the house, she passed by a well in it and fell into it, and it became her grave."
أن أروى خاصمته في بعض داره فقال: دعوها وإياها، فإني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: من أخذ شبرا من الأرض بغير حقه طوقه في سبع أرضين يوم القيامة اللهم إن كانت كاذبة فأعم بصرها، واجعل قبرها في دارها. قال: فرأيتها عمياء تلتمس الجدر تقول: أصابتني دعوة سعيد بن زيد، فبينما هي تمشي في الدار، مرت على بئر في الدار، فوقعت فيها فكانت قبرها.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Sharecropping and Agriculture (1610: 138) from Harmala bin Yahya, who said, Abdullah bin Wahb informed us, Umar bin Muhammad told me, that his father told him, from Saeed bin Zayd bin Amr bin Nufayl, and he related it.Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Grievances (2452) through another route from Saeed bin Zayd, mentioning only the part attributed to the Prophet.As for what was reported from Ayesha, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever invokes a curse against one who has wronged him has already taken his revenge," its chain is daif. Tirmidhi narrated it in his Jami (3552), and in Ilal (2/922), and Ibn Adi in Kamil (6/2407), both through routes from Abu Ahwas, from Abu Hamza, from Ibrahim, from Aswad, from Ayesha, and he related it.Tirmidhi said, "This is a gharib hadith. We do not know it except through the report of Abu Hamza. Some scholars have criticized Abu Hamza with regard to his memory, and he is Maymun the one-eyed."And he said in Ilal, "I asked Muhammad about this hadith, and he said, I do not know of anyone who narrated this hadith other than Abu Ahwas, but it comes from Abu Hamza, and he declared Abu Hamza to be extremely daif."
