The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not turn your houses into graves, and do not make my grave a place of festival. Send blessings upon me, for your blessings reach me wherever you may be."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لا تجعلوا بيوتكم قبورا، ولا تجعلوا قبري عيدا، وصلوا علي فإن صلاتكم تبلغني حيث كنتم.
Abu Dawud (2042) and Ahmad (8804) both narrated it through Abdullah bin Nafi, who said, Ibn Abu Dhib narrated to me, from Saeed Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan due to the discussion surrounding Abdullah bin Nafi, who is the Saigh, the Makhzumi, and the discussion about him is set out at length in the book on Hajj.
