Bayhaqi reported it in Al-Kubra (9/286) and in Al-Shuab (1473), and Ibn Shahin in the fifth part of Al-Afrad (81), all of them through the route of Umar bin Hafs bin Ghiyath, who said, my father narrated to me, from Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr, who is al-Laythi, for his hadith is hasan. It has also been narrated from Jabir, though there is disagreement about its chain. Daraqutni set out part of it in his Ilal (13/324), and the hadith is the hadith of Abu Hurairah.It has also been narrated from Ibn Abbas, and his hadith is found in Ibn Majah (908), but its chain contains Jabarah bin Mughallas, who is daif.
