Baghawi narrated it in Jadiyyat (3058) - and from his route, Ibn Bishran in his Amali (1192), and Khatib in Talkhis Mutashabih (250) - from Muhammad bin Habib Jarudi, who said, Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Hazim narrated to us, from his father, from Sahl bin Saad, and he mentioned it. Its isnad is hasan because of Muhammad bin Habib Jarudi, for he is truthful (saduq), as Khatib said in Tarikh Baghdad (2/277).Similar in meaning is what was narrated from Abu Talha Ansari, who said, "One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up in good spirits, with joy visible on his face. They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you have woken up today in good spirits, with joy visible on your face.' He said, 'Indeed, one came to me from my Lord and said, "Whoever among your nation sends blessings upon you, Allah will record for him ten good deeds for it, erase from him ten bad deeds, raise him ten levels, and return the like of it to him."'"Ahmad narrated it (16352) from Siraj, who said, Abu Mashar narrated to us, from Ishaq bin Kaab bin Ujra, from Abu Talha Ansari, and he mentioned it. Abu Mashar is Najeeh bin Abdul-Rahman Sindi, who is daif, and Ishaq bin Kaab bin Ujra is unknown.Therefore Hafiz bin Qayyim said, "This hadith is more fitting attributed to Sahl than to Abu Talha." Jala Afham (113). It has another route from Abu Talha with a wording that differs slightly from it.Nasai narrated it (1295, 1283), and Ahmad (16361, 16363, 16364), and Ibn Hibban (915), and Hakim (2/420), all of them through the route of Hammad bin Salama, from Thabit, from Sulayman, the freed slave of Hasan bin Ali, from Abdullah bin Abu Talha, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came one day with joy visible on his face, and he said, "Jibreel came to me and said, 'Does it not please you, O Muhammad, that none of your nation sends blessings upon you without my sending blessings upon him tenfold, and none of your nation sends greetings of peace upon you without my sending greetings of peace upon him tenfold?'"Sulayman, the freed slave of Hasan bin Ali, is unknown. Nasai said, "I do not know him," except that Ibn Hibban mentioned him among his trustworthy narrators, following his usual practice.There is disagreement regarding its isnad concerning Thabit, and the correct view is the aforementioned narration of Hammad bin Salama, as Daraqutni said in Ilal (9/6-10).
