The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the first night of the month of Ramadan arrives, the devils and the rebellious jinn are chained up, the gates of the Fire are shut so that not a single gate remains open, and the gates of Paradise are flung open so that not a single gate remains closed. A caller cries out, 'Seeker of good, come forward! Seeker of evil, hold back!' And Allah has those whom He frees from the Fire, and this happens every night."
