I asked, "Messenger of Allah, where do you command me to go?"He said, "Over there," and he gestured with his hand toward Sham. He said, "You will be gathered on foot, riding, and dragged on your faces."
قلت: يا رسول الله أين تأمرني؟ قال: ها هنا ونحا بيده نحو الشام قال: إنكم محشورون رجالا وركبانا، وتجرون على وجوهكم.
Narrated by Tirmidhi (2192, 2424, 3143) and Ahmad (20031) — and this is his wording — and Hakim graded it sahih (4/564), all of them through various routes from Bahz bin Hakeem, from his father, from his grandfather, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Bahz bin Hakeem bin Muawiya Qushayri, for he is hasan al-hadith.Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith."
