The Prophet ﷺ said, "You will be organized into separate armies in Syria, Egypt, Iraq, and Yemen."They said, "Choose for us, Messenger of Allah."He said, "You should go to Syria."They said, "We are owners of livestock and cannot endure Syria."He said, "Whoever cannot endure Syria, let him go to its Yemen, for Allah has guaranteed Syria for me."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: إنكم ستجندون أجنادا جندا بالشام ومصر والعراق واليمن قالوا: فخر لنا يا رسول الله. قال: عليكم بالشام. قالوا: إنا أصحاب ماشية ولا نطيق الشام قال: فمن لم يطق الشام فليلحق بيمنه؛ فإن الله قد تكفل لي بالشام.

Bazzar (4144) narrated it from Umar bin Khattab Sijistani, who said, Hisham (that is, Ibn Ammar bin Nusayr Sulami) narrated to us, who said, Sulayman bin Utba narrated to us, who said, Yunus bin Maysara narrated to us, from Abu Idris, from Abu Darda, and he related it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Umar bin Khattab Sijistani, Hisham bin Ammar, and Sulayman bin Utba, for all of these are narrators whose hadith is hasan. Bazzar graded its chain of transmission hasan.
