The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "While I was sleeping, I saw the pillar of the Book being lifted from beneath my head. I thought it was being taken away, so I followed it with my eyes, and it was carried off toward Sham. Indeed, when tribulations strike, faith will be in Sham."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: بينا أنا نائم إذ رأيت عمود الكتاب احتمل من تحت رأسي، فظننت أنه مذهوب به، فأتبعته بصري، فعمد به إلى الشام، ألا وإن الإيمان حين تقع الفتن بالشام.
Ahmad (21733) narrated it from Ishaq bin Isa, who said, Yahya bin Hamza narrated to us, from Zayd bin Waqid, who said, Busr bin Ubaydullah narrated to me, who said, Abu Idris Khawlani narrated to me, from Abu Darda, and he related it. Its isnad is sahih.Haythami said in al-Majma (10/57), "Ahmad and Tabarani narrated it, and the narrators of Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih."
