The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to come to the Quba Mosque, sometimes riding and sometimes walking, and he would pray two units of prayer there. One narration adds, every Saturday.
كان رسول الله ﷺ يأتي مسجد قباء راكبا وماشيا، فيصلي فيه ركعتين. وزاد في رواية: كل سبت.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on the virtue of the masjid of Makkah and Madinah (1194), and Muslim in Hajj (1399: 516), both through the route of Ubaydullah, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who mentioned it.The addition was narrated by Bukhari (1193) and Muslim (1399: 521), both through the route of Abdullah bin Dinar, from Ibn Umar, with the same content. Ibn Dinar said, "Ibn Umar used to do it."
