The Prophet ﷺ said, "Madinah is a sanctuary. Whoever commits a wrong in it or shelters a wrongdoer, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. On the Day of Resurrection, no compensation or ransom will be accepted from him."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: المدينة حرم، فمن أحدث فيها حدثا أو آوى محدثا فعليه لعنة الله والملائكة والناس أجمعين، لا يقبل منه يوم القيامة عدل ولا صرف.
Muslim narrated it in the Hajj chapter (137:1371) from Ibn Abu Shayba, who said, "Husayn bin Ali Jafi told us, from Zaida, from Sulayman, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah," and he mentioned it.
