The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out in the year of Hudaybiyyah intending to visit the House, not seeking battle. They mentioned the hadith in its full length, and it is recorded in its proper place. It includes the following: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray within the sacred precinct, while his camp was pitched outside it in the unsanctified area.
خرج رسول الله ﷺ عام الحديبية يريد زيارة البيت لا يريد قتالا (فذكرا الحديث بطوله وهو مخرج في موضعه). وفيه: وكان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي في الحرم، وهو مضطرب في الحل.
Ahmad narrated it (18910) from Yazid bin Harun, who said, Muhammad bin Ishaq bin Yasar informed us, from Zuhri, Muhammad bin Muslim Ibn Shihab, from Urwa bin Zubayr, from Miswar bin Makhrama and Marwan bin Hakam, and they related it. Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Ishaq. Ibn Hisham mentioned it in his Sira (2/308) using the wording "bi al-tahdith."As for his statement, "and he had pitched his tent outside the sacred area," it means he had set up his tent in the area that is not part of the sanctuary.As for the multiplication of good deeds in Makkah by a hundred thousand times or more, no sahih hadith has been reported concerning this. Something similar has been narrated from Ibn Abbas, but the chain of transmission to him is not sound.
