In his lengthy narration of the Farewell Pilgrimage, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Your blood and your property are sacred to you, just as the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this city of yours."He then mentioned the rest of the hadith.
- في حديثه الطويل في حجة الوداع- أن النبي ﷺ قال: إن دماءكم وأموالكم حرام كحرمة يومكم هذا، في شهركم هذا، في بلدكم هذا… ثم ذكر بقية الحديث.
Muslim narrated it in the Hajj chapters (147:1218) through several routes from Hatim bin Ismail Madani, from Jafar bin Muhammad, from his father, who said, "We went in to see Jabir bin Abdullah," and he mentioned it.His saying, "in this town of yours," refers to Makkah.
