The Messenger of Allah ﷺ caught sight of Mount Uhud and said, "This is a mountain that loves us and we love it. O Allah, Ibrahim declared Makkah sacred, and I declare sacred what lies between the two lava fields of Madinah."Wazad added in another narration, "O Allah, bless them in their mudd and their saa."
أن رسول الله ﷺ طلع له أحد فقال: هذا جبل يحبنا ونحبه، اللهم إن إبراهيم حرم مكة وأنا أحرم ما بين لابتيها. وزاد في رواية: اللهم بارك لهم في مدهم وصاعهم.
Malik narrated it in Al-Jami (10) from Amr, the freedman of Abdul-Muttalib, from Anas bin Malik, who related it. Bukhari narrated it in Al-Itisam (7333) through the route of Malik, similarly.Bukhari also narrated it in Al-Atimah (5425), and Muslim in Hajj (1365), both of them through routes from Ismail bin Jafar, from Amr, the freedman of Muttalib, similarly, in a lengthy context, containing the addition mentioned.
