I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Khaybar to serve him. When the Prophet ﷺ was returning and Uhud came into view, he said, "This is a mountain that loves us and that we love."Then he pointed with his hand toward Madinah and said, "O Allah, I declare sacred what lies between its two lava fields, just as Ibrahim declared Makkah sacred. O Allah, bless us in our saa and our mudd."
Bukhari related it in the Book of Jihad and Expeditions (2889), and Muslim in the Book of Hajj (1365-462), both of them through the route of Amr bin Abu Amr, freedman of Muttalib bin Abdullah bin Hantab, that he heard Anas bin Malik say, then he mentioned it.
