The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah, forgive the Ansar, the children of the Ansar, and the children of their children, and forgive their freed slaves and their neighbors."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: اللهم اغفر للأنصار، ولذراري الأنصار، ولذراري ذراريهم، ولموالهيم، وجيرانهم.
Narrated by Ibn Abu Shayba (33043), Bazzar (3734), and Tabarani in Al-Kabir (33/5–34), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (7283). All of them narrated it via Zayd bin Hubab, from Hisham bin Harun Ansari, who said, Muaz bin Rifa bin Rafi told me, from his father, who mentioned it.Haythami mentioned it in Al-Majma (10/40) and said, "Bazzar and Tabarani narrated it, and their narrators are the narrators of sahih except for Hisham bin Amr, who is trustworthy." He said this relying on Ibn Hibban's endorsement of his reliability, otherwise he is unknown, though he has a corroborating narration. Tabarani narrated it in Al-Kabir (33/5) from Abbas bin Fadl Asfati, who said, Ibrahim bin Yahya Shajari told us, my father told us, from Ubayd bin Yahya, from Muaz bin Rifa, from his father, who mentioned something similar.Ibrahim bin Yahya is Ibn Muhammad bin Abbad Shajari. Both he and his father are daif. So the hadith, taken together through these two chains, rises to the level of hasan. Bazzar graded it hasan in his Musnad (3734).
