The Messenger of Allah ﷺ proposed marriage to me, so I said, "It is not that I have any aversion to you, but I do not wish to marry while my children are still young."He asked, "Do you have any other reason?"I replied, "No."He then said, "The best of women who ride camels are the women of Quraysh. They are the most affectionate to a young child and the most devoted to a husband in caring for what he possesses."
Tabarani reported it in al-Kabir (24/436) and in al-Awsat (5615) through various routes from Abu Ismail al-Muaddib, from Ismail bin Abu Khalid, from Shaybi, from Umm Hani, as mentioned. Its chain is hasan because of Abu Ismail al-Muaddib, whose name is Ibrahim bin Sulayman bin Razin, for he is hasan al-hadith.Haythami said in al-Majmaa (4/271), "Tabarani reported it in al-Awsat and al-Kabir, and its narrators are trustworthy."
