The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell ill, and Fatimah came and bent down close to him. He whispered something to her, and she wept. Then she bent down close to him again, and he whispered something to her, and she laughed. After the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away, I asked her about it.She said, "When I first bent down close to him, he told me that he would die from this illness of his, so I wept. Then I bent down close to him again, and he told me that I would be the first of his household to follow him, and that I would be the mistress of the women of Paradise, except for Maryam bint Imran. So I raised my head and laughed."
Nasai reported it in Al-Kubra (8459, 8308), and Ibn Shahin in his section on the virtues of Fatimah (4, 5), both of them through routes going back to Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama, from Ayesha, and he related it.Its isnad is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqama, for his hadith is hasan.
