The Prophet ﷺ said, "When Allah created Adam, He struck his right shoulder and brought forth a white progeny like tiny ants, then He struck his left shoulder and brought forth a black progeny like burnt coals. He said of those in His right hand, 'To Paradise, and I do not care,' and He said of those in His left hand, 'To the Fire, and I do not care.'"
Ahmad narrated it (27488) from Haytham. Abdullah bin Ahmad said, "I also heard it from him myself." He said, Abu Rabi told us, from Yunus, from Abu Idris, from Abu Darda, and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan, due to the discussion concerning Abu Rabi.Bazzar also narrated it, in Kashf Astar (2144), from Ibrahim, who said, Haytham bin Kharija told us, with his chain, similarly. He said, "We do not know of it being narrated with this wording except through this chain, and its chain is hasan."Haythami said in al-Majma (7/185), "Ahmad, Bazzar, and Tabarani narrated it, and its men are the men of the sahih."
