We came as a delegation to Muawiya bin Abu Sufyan, in a story about the conquest of Makkah within a long hadith, which included this: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever enters the house of Abu Sufyan is safe."
وفدنا إلى معاوية بن أبي سفيان- في قصة فتح مكة في حديث طويل وفيه: قال رسول الله ﷺ: من دخل دار أبي سفيان فهو آمن.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Jihad and Campaigns (1780-86), from Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman Darimi, who said, Yahya bin Hassan narrated to us, who said, Hammad bin Salama narrated to us, who said, Thabit informed us, from Abdullah bin Rabah, who said, and then he mentioned it.
