Bazzar (2491) narrated it, and this is his wording, as did Tabarani in al-Kabir (14/554), both through the route of Sulayman Amash, from Amr bin Mura, from Abdullah bin Harith, from Abdullah bin Malik Zubaydi, from Abdullah bin Amr, who related it.Its isnad is hasan because of Abdullah bin Malik Zubaydi, for he is hasan al-hadith. He is Abu Kathir Zubaydi, and there is disagreement about his name. Some say Abdullah bin Malik, as with Bazzar, and others say Zuhayr bin Aqmar, as with Tabarani. Nasai, Ajli, and Ibn Hibban rated him trustworthy.Haythami graded it hasan in al-Majma (9/357), saying, "Tabarani narrated it, and its isnad is hasan."
