Bukhari narrated it in "Knowledge" (75), from Abu Muamar, who said, Abdul-Warith narrated to us, who said, Khalid narrated to us, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, who said, then he mentioned it.He also narrated it in "The Virtues of the Companions" (3756) through another route from Khalid, with this same wording, and he also narrated it there from Musaddad, from Abdul-Warith, from Khalid, with the wording, "The Prophet ﷺ pressed me to his chest and said, 'Allah, teach him wisdom.'"Ibn Majah narrated it (166) through the route of Abdul-Wahhab, who said, Khalid Haddan narrated to us, with the wording, "Allah, teach him wisdom and the interpretation of the Book."Its chain of transmission is sahih.
