Asma bint Abu Bakr reported,

She reported that she was pregnant with Abdullah bin Zubayr. She said, "I set out while I was at the end of my pregnancy and arrived in Madinah, where I stayed at Quba. I gave birth to him at Quba, then I brought him to the Prophet ﷺ and placed him in his lap. He called for a date, chewed it, then placed it in the child's mouth. The first thing to enter his stomach was the saliva of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he rubbed his palate with the date, prayed for him, and blessed him. He was the first child born in Islam."
