There was a man among the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called Julaybib who had an unattractive appearance. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ suggested marriage to him.Julaybib replied, "Then you will find me unwanted."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "But with Allah you are not unwanted."
كان رجل من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ يقال له جليبيب في وجهه دمامة، فعرض عليه رسول الله ﷺ التزويج فقال: إذا تجدني كاسدا. فقال: غير أنك عند الله لست بكاسد.

Abu Yaala (3343) narrated it from Muhammad bin Abu Bakr Muqaddami, who said, Daylam bin Ghazwan narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us, from Anas, and he related it. Its chain is hasan because of Daylam bin Ghazwan Abdi, for his hadith is hasan.His saying, "unwanted," means not desired or sought after.
