Jabir said, "We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey, and my water-camel lagged behind." He continued the hadith, and within it he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prodded it, then said to me, 'Mount, in the name of Allah.'"He also added, "He kept increasing the price he offered me, saying, 'And may Allah forgive you.'"
قال كنا مع النبي ﷺ في سفر، فتخلف ناضحي، وساق الحديث. وقال فيه: فنخسه رسول الله ﷺ، ثم قال لي: اركب باسم الله وزاد أيضا: قال: فما زال يزيدني، ويقول: والله يغفر لك.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Musaqah (715-112) from Abu Kamil Jahdari, who said, Abdul-Wahid bin Ziyad narrated to us, who said, Jareeri narrated to us, from Abu Nadra, from Jabir, who said, and then he related it.
