The Prophet ﷺ went out one morning wearing a patterned cloak made of black hair. Hasan bin Ali came, and the Prophet brought him under it. Then Husayn came and joined him beneath it. Then Fatimah came, and he brought her in. Then Ali came, and he brought him in as well.Then he said, "Allah only wishes to remove all impurity from you, people of the household, and to purify you completely" [Ahzab 33:33].
خرج النبي ﷺ غداة وعليه مرط مرحل، من شعر أسود، فجاء الحسن ابن علي فأدخله، ثم جاء الحسين فدخل معه، ثم جاءت فاطمة فأدخلها، ثم جاء علي فأدخله. ثم قال: {إنما يريد الله ليذهب عنكم الرجس أهل البيت ويطهركم تطهيرا} [الأحزاب: ٣٣].
Muslim narrated it in the Virtues of the Companions (2424) through several routes from Muhammad bin Bishr, from Zakariya, from Musab bin Shayba, from Safiya bint Shayba, who said, Ayesha said, and then mentioned it.
