Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The example of the one who strives in the path of Allah is like that of a person standing in prayer without tiring, and like that of a person fasting without breaking the fast, until the one who strives in the path of Allah returns."

عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال مثل المجاهد في سبيل الله مثل القائم لا يفتر ومثل الصائم لا يفطر حتى يرجع المجاهد في سبيل الله عز وجل
