Ubayda reported,

Ali mentioned the people of Nahrawan and said, "Among them is a man with a deformed hand, or a stunted hand, or a defective hand. Were it not that you might become arrogant, I would tell you what Allah has promised, on the tongue of Muhammad ﷺ, to those who kill them."So I said to Ali, "Did you yourself hear this?"He replied, "Yes, by the Lord of the Kaabah."

أن عليا رضي الله عنه ذكر أهل النهروان فقال فيهم رجل مودن اليد أو مثدون اليد أو مخدج اليد لولا أن تبطروا لنبأتكم ما وعد الله الذين يقتلونهم على لسان محمد ﷺ فقلت لعلي أأنت سمعته قال إي ورب الكعبة
