Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Trials continue to afflict the believing man or woman in body, wealth, and children until they meet Allah with no sin remaining upon them."

وبإسناده قال قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يزال البلاء بالمؤمن أو المؤمنة في جسده وماله وولده حتى يلقى الله عز وجل وما عليه من خطيئة
