The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The religion will remain dominant so long as people hasten to break the fast, for the Jews and the Christians delay it."
وبإسناده قال قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يزال الدين ظاهرا ما عجل الناس الفطر إن اليهود والنصارى يؤخرون
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it, 2/305, no. 2353, in the Book of Fasting, on what is recommended regarding hastening to break the fast, and Ibn Abu Shayba narrated the same, 3/12. Hakim also narrated it, 1/431, and graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
