The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Be servants of Allah as brothers. Do not show enmity toward one another, and do not harbor hatred toward one another. Be upright, aim close to the mark, and receive glad tidings."
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا حماد يعني ابن سلمة عن محمد
قال رسول الله ﷺ كونوا عباد الله إخوانا لا تعادوا ولا تباغضوا سددوا وقاربوا وأبشروا
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Muhammad is Ibn Ziyad Qurashi Jumahi, who is trustworthy. The hadith is part of a hadith narrated by Bukhari 23/8, in the chapter on Manners, on what is forbidden regarding envy, and by Muslim 4/1985 no. 2563, in the chapter on Righteousness, on the prohibition of suspicion and spying, and by Abu Dawud 4910, in the chapter on Manners, concerning one who avoids his brother for more than three days, and by Tirmidhi 329/4 no. 1935, in the chapter on Righteousness, on what has been said about envy, both of them from Anas.
