I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whom do you count as a martyr?"They replied, "The one who fights in the path of Allah until he is killed."He said, "Then the martyrs of my nation would be few indeed. The one killed in the path of Allah is a martyr, the one who dies of plague in the path of Allah is a martyr, the one who drowns in the path of Allah is a martyr, the one who falls from his mount in the path of Allah is a martyr, and the one afflicted with pleurisy in the path of Allah is a martyr."Muhammad said, "Al-majnub refers to the one suffering from pleurisy."
