Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sneezed, he would place his garment or his hand over his forehead and lower or muffle his voice.
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن عجلان قال حدثني سمي عن أبي صالح
كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا عطس وضع ثوبه أو يده على جبهته وخفض أو غض من صوته
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it, 4/307, no. 5029, in the Book of Manners, chapter on sneezing, and Tirmidhi, 5/861, no. 2745, in the Book of Manners, chapter on lowering the voice and covering the face while sneezing, and he said, hasan sahih.
