Simak bin Ubayd bin Walid Absi reported,
I came in to see Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Layla, and he told me that he witnessed Ali 
in the open courtyard saying, "I adjure by Allah any man who heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and was present with him on the day of Ghadir Khumm to stand up. Let no one stand except those who saw him with their own eyes."Twelve men stood up and said, "We saw him and heard him on that occasion when he took his hand and said, 'O Allah, befriend whoever befriends him and oppose whoever opposes him, support whoever supports him and forsake whoever forsakes him.'"They all stood except three who did not rise, so he supplicated against them, and his supplication struck them.

حدثني سماك بن عبيد بن الوليد العبسي قال
دخلت على عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى فحدثني أنه شهد عليا رضي الله عنه في الرحبة قال أنشد الله رجلا سمع رسول الله ﷺ وشهده يوم غدير خم إلا قام ولا يقوم إلا من قد رآه فقام اثنا عشر رجلا فقالوا قد رأيناه وسمعناه حيث أخذ بيده يقول اللهم وال من والاه وعاد من عاداه وانصر من نصره واخذل من خذله فقام إلا ثلاثة لم يقوموا فدعا عليهم فأصابتهم دعوته
Its chain of transmission is daif. Walid bin Uqbah bin Nizar Ansi, with the letter nun, is majhul al-hal (of unknown status), as stated in al-Mizan, al-Tahdhib, and al-Taqrib.Ahmad bin Amr bin Hafs Wakii is thiqah thabit, and he was given the nickname Wakii because of his association with Waki bin Jarrah. In ح he is called Rabii, which is a scribal error.Simak bin Ubayd bin Walid Absi is mentioned by Ibn Hibban in al-Thiqat. His attribution as Absi, with the letter ba, appears in ح and ه, while in ك it appears as Aysi with the letter ya, clearly marked with two dots. In al-Tajil, page 168, it appears as Ansi with the letter nun, though I do not think that is correct.This hadith was mentioned in al-Zawaid, 9:105, with a similar meaning, and he said, Abu Yaala narrated it, and his narrators were deemed reliable, as did Abdullah bin Ahmad. Haythami avoided commenting on this chain and was content with the chain of Abu Yaala. Perhaps he did so because he also did not recognize Walid bin Uqbah.As for his statement, "So he stood except three," meaning "so they stood," the singular pronoun is used as though he meant, "so these stood."
