Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, meaning that Allah said, "I am the best of partners. Whoever does a deed for My sake but associates another with Me in it, I disown that deed, and it belongs entirely to the one he associated with Me."

حدثنا يحيى عن شعبة قال حدثنا العلاء بن عبد الرحمن عن أبيه

عن أبي هريرة قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ يعني قال الله عز وجل أنا خير الشركاء من عمل لي عملا أشرك فيه غيري فأنا منه بريء وهو للذي أشرك
