Abu Hurairah reported,
The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you strikes another, let him avoid the face, and let him not say, 'May Allah disfigure your face and the face of whoever resembles your face,' for Allah 
created Adam 
in his image."

عن أبي هريرة
عن النبي ﷺ قال إذا ضرب أحدكم فليجتنب الوجه ولا يقل قبح الله وجهك ووجه من أشبه وجهك فإن الله عز وجل خلق آدم عليه السلام على صورته
Its chain of transmission is sahih, it occurred previously in 2/347, and Abu Dawud, 4/167, no. 4493, related it with a similar wording in the Book of Hudud, in the chapter on striking the face. Muslim, 4/2016, no. 2612, related it with close wording in the Book of Righteousness, in the chapter on the prohibition of striking the face, as did Abdul-Razzaq, 9/445, no. 17952, in the Book of Blood Money, in the chapter on striking women and servants.
