The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not harm his neighbor. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him say what is good or remain silent."Yahya, on one occasion, said, "or stay quiet."
حدثنا يحيى عن ابن عجلان قال حدثني أبي
عن النبي ﷺ قال من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فلا يؤذين جاره ومن كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليكرم ضيفه ومن كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليقل خيرا أو ليسكت وقال يحيى مرة أو ليصمت
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari narrated it 10/445, no. 6018, Fath, Adab, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor," and Muslim 1/68, no. 47, in Iman, encouraging honoring the neighbor and the guest, and Malik 929.
