A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ demanding payment for a camel he was owed. The companions said, "We can only find one of better age than what was owed."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Give it to him."The man said, "You have repaid me in full. May Allah repay you in full."The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best of people are those who are best in repaying their debts."
حدثنا يحيى عن سفيان قال حدثني سلمة بن كهيل عن أبي سلمة
أن رجلا تقاضى رسول الله ﷺ بعيرا فقالوا ما نجد إلا أفضل من سنه فقال أعطوه فقال أوفيتني أوفى الله لك قال خيار الناس أحسنهم قضاء
